Is trich getting in during G2G?

Hey folks
I rarely catch trich in my spawn it usually wont show until I fruit. But I gave a couple spawn bags a massage and finally caught it in the act, a spec of green in each bag.
Each of these two bags came from a different grain master, that were inoculated 2 different monoculture plates.
Im pretty sure the master quarts were clean. The cultures were isolates and had to have been clean. I took jars out of PC washed w ISO inoculated in front of FH and they colonized beautifully, even gave them a shake and they recovered nicely.
Granted Im new working with spawn bags but I was very smooth on these two, didnt touch the bag with the jar didnt move my hands over the open bag etc. My only thought is that trich landed on the outside of the jars and got knocked in during G2G? They were kept in a room with my tubs (because its warm) and one tub did contam, tho it wasnt in there long.
I wiped the jars down thourougly with ISO before G2G as well as a shower, change of clothes tyvek sleeves hairnet mask gloves etc..FH running a full hour at least
I know trich happens but it happens alot in my house haha. This narrowed some of the variables down. What do you think I am doing wrong?

Could be. Trichoderma spores are sticky and are easily spread to all kinds of surfaces including your gloves and the outside of the jars. It's just a matter of what has touched them.

were the plates fresh, or had they been grown out, then stored for a bit, then u used them after a while?

The cultures had been in the fridge but I cant actually remember if I grew out new plates or took them out of the fridge.
If it was on the jars is there anything I should be doing different? Should I wash down the jars with soap and water before I wipe them with ISO?

I just do an ISO wipedown, making sure to get as much under the ring as possible as well as the exposed lid.

Are you wiping down the bags too before placing them into the direct downstream of the flowhood just prior to inoculation? Sounds like the spore load in your house has multiplied to the point to where future generations are now going to be compromised until an intense cleaning of your spawning area is employed.
How warm were you incubating those tubs down there where you say it was warm at? Over exposure to temps warmer than 75F are a huge vector for breeding contams in bags that size. The bags colonizing in a room with an infected tub is a vector for contamination to your grain spawn as well. Grain spawn and tubs spawn running should be in separate areas.

Also, if you're incubating lots of bags close together, thermogenesis could be creating favorable conditions for trich.

Ive had tubs go green in several different places, normally I catch it while its white and isolate to my porch but it got by me a few times and sporulated so now my house is pretty doomed Im sure.
That is one thing I didnt really do, I took the bags out of the PC after they cooled to put in front of the FH, I know the PC doesnt stay sterile but I thought it would be enough. So I guess thats one more thing I could do.
The room temp was about 70 maybe a couple degrees warmer because I kept the door closed. Warmest room in the house.
Id put my tubs up there last run cause it was the cleanest room haha
See orginally I used tp fruit tubs in a hidden area in the basement by the furnace, and after one tub went green it probably circulated through the house.
Im running out of places to do this stuff haha I keep the FH room sealed off from heat and under the door to the best of my ability
The only thing I can think, is I have an unfinished attic with a floor. It wouldnt be too hard to seal off a nice tent area for the flowhood up there so I can at least have lab space thats easier to keep clean.
What are my options for "intensive cleaning?"
I do have a sweet attic above the garage too. Would be a perfect grow room if I could find a way to regulate the temp.

Once trich germinates. Trich creates great peril to future generations. Trich may not show up in the prior generation. Believe me though, breakout is coming for the 2'nd or 3'rd generation prior to initial outbreak.
Correct. Critical: EVERYTHING PLACED DIRECTLY INTO THE DOWNSTREAM OF THE STERILE AIR OF FLOWHOOD MUST BE WIPED WITH AN ISO SOAKED PAPER TOWEL FIRST!!

There is no faster vector for cross-contamination than NOT wiping EVERYTHING down with iso before placing into direct downstream.
Your PC draws in outside air while returning to atmospheric pressure. Outside air is laden with contams. Those contams get all over your media vessels. If you're not careful, they will enter your media vessels at that point.
Temp regulation in an attic can be achieved fast and easy. All you need is 2 by 4's, "R-Max", 1/2 inch thick insulation board. A 1-200 btu window unit air-conditioner, a screw gun and some screws.
Your options for an intensive cleaning are as follows.; Generate a sterile lab environment. Maintain lab's sterile equilibrium. Wipe all surfaces with a 1:10 bleach water solution. For best results, wipe all surfaces once a week.
Sterile procedure must be up-stepped when working with flowhood. Good luck, mush.

not sure how u store, or if they were stored, but check for tears in the para or cling wrap. in december/january, i had several plates get tears that were small, and easy to miss because it was so dry in my room, or they got knocked around while being stored.
for jars, i just get the part btw lid and jar really well with iso. i don't even wipe it anymore, i just squirt it with a syringe full of iso. i wipe rest of jar with paper towel/iso including the jar lid and the filter.

Yea, I guess that couldve been it *this* time because I was pretty thurough wiping down everything down but the bags
So what does the ISO wash actually do, it wipes the spores right off?
Also I should be worrying more about surfaces than the air yea? I had been told that trich sticks to things more than it floats around ?
I dont own the house so I will have to discuss the posibility of doing a little work up there. I grew up there no problem last summer its just too cold until the spring.
But in the meantime it would be very easy to use thick plastic to staple a tented area for my flow hood that could be kept clean much more easily than the room its in now. The clandestine lab I make my spawn in could be pretty spotless. I could find a seperate area I can keep just as clean to mix my tubs in I guess.
But whats your take on where I colonize/fruit the tubs? If my spawns clean, and I use reasonable precautions when mixing tubs, should it really matter I live in a trich laden house?

Some of them. The rest get smeared around.
Keep in mind a flow hood can blow particles off a surface so if you're not careful about where you're moving things around contaminants can get blown into the bag. Unlike doing work in a SAB where your main concern is what is above your sterile work the flow of any airborne contaminant is going be horizontal, moving away from the FH.

You need to worry about all of thee above. The iso wash wipes spores away and supresses them. What happens if you don't wipe every tool with iso before placing into direct downstream? The spores will contaminate the sterile air of the flowhood.
CROSS-CONTAMINATION!
There are two separate degrees of cleanliness between the lab and spawn run area. The lab must be held to the upmost degree of cleanliness. The spawn run area can/may/will have some beneficials and beasties running around in it. Opening a sterile media vessel in that environment is a vector for,
CROSS-CONTAMINATION!
