Take it to the identification forum.
If they are what I think they are, which is some kind of "inky cap", then it's not edible and they're not hallucinogenic. Inky caps are toxic, especially when consumed with alcohol.

lol sorry! my bad, I see the identification/hunting forum now is right above this but this one did say Contamination Forum Ever wonder what that ugly green stuff is? Are you worried about health risks, identification, fighting off mold and bacteria? Here is a forum dedicated to any cultivator's worst enemy, contamination.
im sorry, I did try to use the right forum. but you are totally right, they turned into this weird black ink and the caps disappeared by morning.. hehe hopefully the horses poop will become edible mushrooms this spring... I will try moving their dung piles into different shady spots.. I will not eat these (i was 99% sure they were poison and not magic)

Identification, as used in this description is applied to the identification of contaminants of the mushroom culture. No worries, we all make mistakes, and you're new.
You could find out which psychoactive mushrooms are suitable to your climate and you could attempt to propagate an outdoor mushroom bed.
