if your in he south east their still in the getto store like albertson(saw em) or win-dixe. yes they are for makin your home made preserves. there are places that sell them on-line. forget the only hand spraying method.ok. most people agree go with perlite. its cheap, easy to find, and most important effective. if i was starting out i would simply get a pressure cooker (most newbies dont want to buy one but just face it)and also brn/verm, half pint jars. thats it its sooo easy just remember to be clean very clean. oh look at http://www.erowid.org/plants/mushrooms/mushrooms_cultivation_perlite.shtml

personally i use a 14 gal rubbermade container with 2 in perlite.
