Giving Thanks

Today is the day to count our blessings. Practicing gratitude is one of the best exercises to higher awareness. That in mind, I will start:
I give thanks for my many friends locally and here, my family, my nearly cherried-out and restored '73 Gremlin (hardly any rust!), my one good kidney, my pet termite "Woody", my hi-tech 8MHz 286 PC, my rapier-like wit, my 1/4 oz of schwag and my job at Wendy's.
Amen.

I give thanks to soulmates regardless of their improbability, to friends, to the female gender for looking so lovely today, to a particular female I connect with on semi-deep levels (don't know her that long), to great movies, to the invention of music in most styles, to the human mind and my ownership of a copy, and language in the broad sense, however inadequate it may be at times.
And last but not least, the inspiring souls here at the Shroomery.
Peace.

Thank you for modern medicine, vanilla tea, drugs, people who can use drugs responsibly, that i have two healthy kidneys so i can share one with someone who has no working kidneys. I give thanks for hot sauce, and the fact that dominos is open on Thanksgiving so that I won't go hungry. I give thanks that I was fired from subway last year so that I can have a job at starbucks that pays 2 dollars an hour more. I give thanks that I had a "sob story" childhood which enabled me to get a college scholarship.
Thanks for good friends, good drugs, good food, and good times.

I give thanks to life and it's intricate beauty...I give thanks to my bright future which I can thank for a myriad of things. I give thanks to my wife for everything that we've gone through and for the beautiful relationship we have. I give thanks to my higher power and spiritual source, God. I give thanks to everything that has ever contributed and will contribute to my overall well-being. Happy Thanksgiving.

I give thanks for the best family one could ask for: my new nephew, parents that loved me enough to let me find my own way and beliefs, thanks also for their seemingly endless patience which is just now paying off. Thanks to the powers that Be for the generous candlepower that lights the way before me.
Thanks to ALL Shroomerites from the highest to the lowest for helping me learn from both your mistakes and successes.

yes, let us give thanks, and then gorge ourselves
-------------------- Annnnnnd I had a light saber and my friend was there and I said "you look like an indian" and he said "you look like satan" and he found a stick and a rock and he named the rock ooga booga and he named the stick Stick and we both thought that was pretty funny. We got eaten alive by mosquitos but didn't notice til the next day. I stepped on some glass while wading in the swamp and cut my foot open, didn't bother me til the next day either....yeah it was a good time, ended the night by buying some liquor for minors and drinking nips and going to he diner and eating chicken fingers, and then I went home and went to bed.

I am thankful for my family. I hated them when I was younger, but I don't know what I would do without them now.
I am thankful for this place!
I am thankful for the bounty of mushrooms I have access to.
I am thankful that God has begun sharing himself with me!
