San Pedro procurement...
    #2140888 - 11/27/03 09:30 PM (13 years, 10 months ago)

I need to purchase (unfortunately) some San Pedro rooted cuttings. There are varied and sundry prices as I'm certain most here are aware of, I want advice on vendors. By this I mean, frankly, where is the best place to purchase considering price and quality? Thus far, the best price I have come across is 4"-6" rooted cuttings for 6 bucks each- it seems about ten of those would be a good start but I'm not certain of the quality or rep of the guy...

Any advice or tips would be appreciated

That sounds good but remember that they will take about three years from that point to yield. I recommend growing them for the joy of growing, or just buying edible material for the sake of edible material. Of course if you plan to farm these items then starting with ten and further dividing over the future years can keep some sort of supply coming your way. In that case though I would grow Peruvians as they are stronger in content. This be my two posetos.
