ID from Olympic Peninsula

Habitat:Spruce forest Olympic Peninsula on ground..pine needles Where does it grow? Eg. woods, pasture, state, province, country, altitude, etc. What does it grow on? Eg. soil, dung, wood (dead, living, what kind of wood?), etc.
Gills:attached and ridged..looks like netting Color, attached/not, gills/pores, etc.
Stem:thin,hollow joined to others Length, diameter, color, texture, hollow/solid, thin/thick, etc.
Cap:rusty orange. 1-1.5 in..brittle,flat to concave, Diameter, color, texture, conical/spherical, convex/concave, etc.
Spore print color:lost mushroom Very important!
Bruising:none Color that the mushroom bruises, if any.
Other information: Scent of the mushroom, anything else you think is important, large close-up pictures showing stem, cap and gills.

Looks like some sort of chanterelle judging by the gills but I'd wait for an id from a trusted identifier

YES winter chanterelles! I was hiking a trail in the Olympic National Park recently and saw some winters, almost always at the base of large doug firs.
Very tasty and more "valuable" than golden chanterelles, up to $14/lb.

I've seen price tags on golden chanterelles at almost $40 a pound, but either way finding your food is one of the more rewarding things in life
