Whole Proteins

Do corn tortilla chips and hummus make a full protein?  Or am I deluding myself?

As far as I know the only plant sources of complete protein are quinoa, hemp seeds, spirulina & bee pollen.

I don't think combining tortilla chips with hummus makes a complete protein, but I could be wrong. You need to look up the amino acid profile of corn chips.

I've done a fair amount of research in this area though, and have never heard such.

You might be thinking of rice n' beans. When combined they do form a complete protein.

I'm just hoping its been corn tortillas and hummus all along

Even those aren't truly whole, as far as I know. The combination of brown rice protein and hemp seed protein is very economical though.

I believe they both contain all 9 essential amino acids, but I could be wrong..
