Many san pedros in one small pot: what to do

They're about 2 years old. somewhere between 1 and 2 years probly.
I foolishly started them in the standard party cups pictured below. My main concern with transplanting them to individual containers is whether or not their roots will be all tangled up?
any advice on dealing with this?

They should be okay if you separate them. Very little harm is done. Just dry them and stick in dry soil.

you're saying let the dirt they're in dry out and then transplant? Had never heard that, many thanks!
to think I've been putting this off for a solid year when it would've been that easy..

Unpot them and dry the roots. Once dry then repot in some dry soil.

You sure those are pedros?
Spines look a little off.

It does, but makes me question the source if they can't tell the difference.

Alright fair enough, I'm no cactus expert but that does not look like most of the pedro seedlings I've seen.
Definitely a dead ringer for bridgesii as far as I can tell with those long spines.

phew. I was worried there for a bit.
These haven't been grown in very good conditions. perhaps thats why they look off.
