Which hot plate to buy?

So I'm in the market for a hot plate. I originally had my eye on this waring hot plate.
http://www.amazon.com/Waring-SB30-1300-Watt-Portable-Single/dp/B000I14C7I
Then in the Presto vs AA thread, over5000 recommended this one. It's a little more expensive, but apparently some users here have had good results with this one.

The last option I was considering was a nuwave induction hot plate, but I use a 23qt presto PC and there's a warning in the owner's manual about using them on glass cooktops.
Which ones do you all use, and what have your experiences been?

Induction hotplates only work with ferrous metals. All of my PC's are aluminum...

I'm trying to find a hot plate as well. I want to PC in a garage to avoid the smell. Would just a propane tank and propane burner be best? I have a presto 16qt canner model #01745

Might be worth it to check into a propane burner... they really come in handy when boiling multiple loads of grain cause it gets the water up there so quick. They can also save a lot of time during the PC cycle. I've never used a hot plate before but I imagine it would take a long time to get rockin n rollin.
Also sometimes you can find AA-25x's on eBay for around $200-300. Not sure if that is way out of your price range but definitely worth the investment if you can scoop one up for somewhere in that neighborhood.

Yeah I use to run my camp chef 3 burner in the basement.. definitely wouldn't worry about it in a garage. It's pretty much the same thing as your gas stove in the kitchen it just can operate at higher BTU.

Hell yeah. Where would you suggest buying a propane burner at?

There are a lot on amazon... Home depot has a few for doing crawdads n low country boils.
I got mine from Costco... it was a lil more expensive, but it can hold 3 pressure cookers and doubles as a really nice way to cook outdoors with the hibachi top (hibachi top sold separately, propane tank not included!)

Well I've decided to put the hot plate off. In order to finish my grow room I'm gonna do these things in order of priority.
1. Buy a second table the same size as the one I have to double my work surface 2. Build flowhood 3. Set up lights for my greenhouse and closet 4. Purchase a cadco hot plate 5. Purchase an AA 930
But yes, I'm going with the cadco.

I'd use one that runs off a regular size tank and is stable. My grow room is small and carpeted, so a propane burner is totally inappropriate for me.
