This statement shows just how little you know about football.
in 2 weeks the patriots will easily still be on top of the power rankings because this week they play the jaguars and the week after they have a by week...
hen they play a beat up dallas team...

How little I know about football? based off saying I feel GB is a better team? They beat em last year, probably would've in the SB had they not had an ultimate collapse of epic proportions.. Shit, our backup qb almost beat NE.. Given that was years ago and not really relevant, but just wait and see...

That's a good question, but when the backup is Jimmy Clausen it's probably bad. Cutler does play like he's in the top third of quarterbacks about 25% of the time. With Brandon Marshall gone and our top pick (2nd highest rated receiver in the draft) injured, I don't think anybody could come in and lead this Bears team to victory at Seattle. Other than Matt Forte, we only have a handful of actual football players.
I really want the Bears to have the worst record in the league, but there is so much competition. Luckily many of the horrible teams have won a game and many of the 0-2 teams are actually good.

Also, just because a team wins against loser teams doesn't secure them the #1 spot still in the meaningless power rankings

IMO most power rankings will stay the same at the top till somebody loses.

Seattle hasn't played at home they got two road games to start and they're usually pretty free on the road. If they don't beat Chicago their season is done imo. That being said the team has much more power at home so they should win, but who knows. I hope it's an enjoyable watch, last week wasn't too bad of a watch so should be ok at the very least.

oh shit! man chicacgo.... i feel bad for and whats coming this weekend. Poor cutlet
wondering how Dallas will do with all of their star offensive players traded/injured. I bet against them though and that is always worth a couple touchdowns

Power rankings are meaningless until the end of the season when things are more solidified. Packers are #1 right now, but if Rodgers gets injured in week 6 they'll plummet in the power rankings. As for Dallas they might be okish without romo, he is out until at laest week 11 minimum from his IR rotation iirc.

I think NE is #1 as far as most of em I've glanced at..
Pretty much, the top 3 could all be interchangeable, usually.. But at this point, pretty confident in saying GB and NE belong at one and two, I don't think the #3 team could be at either of those right now.. But yet again, they're fun to read, but not important

We are two games into the season. Two games. If you think you now where any of the better teams are at now you are nuts. Two games. Sample size, children.
This is not specifically for the Limey. It is for all of you.

I know...I saw the power rankings (official ones...lol) yesterday..some teams jumped or dropped up to 8 or 9 places by losing or winning 1 game....go figure. Also, I think it's a curse to be at the top anyway...most teams relish the underdog role. Anyway, I hate to say it...but Baltimore has a "must win" this weekend against Cincinatti...as crazy as that sounds for the third game of the season. I do believe they will beat them at home and with their backs against the wall...then, 4 days later they play Pittsburgh on Thursday night in Pittsburgh. crap schedule. 3 out of their first 4 games on the road...5 out of their first 7 with four of the away games on the west coast. Who the fuck comes up with this shit?

You think Seattle will cover a 14.5 point spread against the Bears this week? I'd feel a lot more confident if it were 13 or even 14. I could see a 27-13 game and still missing the pick cause of that spread.
