A mycobag growing some EQ has sporulated the black spores are on the side of the bag and on the substrate. Anyway to salvage this?
The spores I mean?
Or call it a loss cause and consume mushys immediately?

don't bother, spores must be free of as much contaminants as possible. Contact with the bag and the substrate will definietly lead to contams. If you are adept with agar you can try isolating some healthy myc from the spores you mentioned.
