chess to decide the outcome?
    #2138482 - 11/26/03 07:16 PM (13 years, 15 days ago)

In my opinion, every conflict between countries should be solved by a game of chess. Honest strategy, and thought out plans. That way our leaders MINDS would actually speak for the people. And if our leader can't play chess, then, he IS a moron. Not deserving of leading people. Our leaders should be educated and wise. Chess speaks for itself as the proper tool of war......just like a game of risk.

That's a cute idea, but not very realistic. Whoever has the biggest bombs wins. Duh.

It already is a game of chess...just on a much grander scale.

but without casualties....wars can be fought through intelligence, not violence. why not, i feel pretty victorious after i win a game, and shit, it can take weeks, even months, to finish a game. i thought it would be good idea. or better yet, have our leaders, not the soldiers, fight. with swords. or maybe sticks, shit anything but guns. that way it will again show who is actually a better leader. if a leader can't win a hand to hand fight, and is still picked to lead millions, they don't need to lead, and less people suffer......

Because if i assassinate you i don't even have to play and can take all your stuff.

Humans are greedy, and immoral...especially our leaders, it would never work unfortunatley. :frown:

i know, bummer.....but if we lived in chivilrous(?) times, it would be perfect, but, assassination is against the rules. one on one, only a select arsenal, swords and staffs and such or fists, or chess.......what a fuckin world we live in
