Earth a living creature? 1

So I had a trip recently and think that earth might be a living creature. That we are just advanced form of parasites living on it's surface. That plants are just growth like algae on a whale. That the oceans are sweat from this creature. That dirt is just ages of dead skin cells, that when we drill and hit oil it's just a layer before you would hit the creatures skin just as we produce oil on our skin. That our purpose is to protect this creature

the earth is alive, we are part of it. if earth wasn't alive, life wouldn't be able to live on it, no life to sustain us. means we have no life.
-------------------- its that bitter-sweet-sour, electric-smooth-twang. everything you ever have, are. or will feel along with every emotion, joy, hate, love, fear or aspiration burning down your nerves and into the fabric of your place in this existence at ten thousand degrees above and below zero will you find yourself wondering if you've been dead or alive this whole time. being born over and over only to die over and over hoping the wheel stops in the same place it started when you spun it, and when it finally does and you can step back and take a nice deep breath you realize how beautiful life is, remember, wake up to the most beautiful day of your life every single day, its just the way.

And volcanos are giant zits that explode and release hot nasty puss!
Gross, but lets face it, living orgasmisms are pretty gross.

2 ways I look at this. Seen interstellar yet? Where we were just meant to destroy and move on.
Other way, is that just as we have cells, we are part of the earth, and the earth is part of a healthy galaxy... In smaller aspect, the "god particles" might make up a healthy atom. And it could even go smaller and smaller. Maybe everything has a life to it with billions of cells either loving or not caring about the structure it supports or kills.

She is, don't even need psychedelics to realize that...

You talk about 'us' as parasites, like we're inferior, then start personifying mother earth which puts everything back on the same level... or really almost in a sense even puts us above her because you're not letting her be her own form, you're squeezing her into a human-like mold.
So is she just a parasite living in the Milky Way?
-------------------- The mushroom speaks: '"I am old, older than thought in your species, which is itself fifty times older than your history. Though I have been on earth for ages I am from the stars. My home is no one planet, for many worlds scattered through the shining disc of the galaxy have conditions which allow my spores an opportunity for life... How the hypercommunication mode operates is a secret which will not be lightly given to man. But the means should be obvious: it is the occurrence of psilocybin and psilocin in the biosynthetic pathways of my living body that opens for me and my symbiots the vision screens to many worlds"

The Gaia hypothesis has made sense to me since even before my psychonautic excursions. I thought it was general knowledge even if not widely accepted.
