popcorn spawn to make liquid mycilium

i'm going to fill quart jars 3/4 the way full with popcorn. i'm doing the popcorn spawn method. if i take one of those colonized jars and mix it with distilled water i will have liquid mycilium. will it work? i want to make that and spread it among more quart jars of popcorn. what's your opinion?

Yes, it will work, as long as you're sterile. It's easier to do in bags, IMO.
