Too bad that bridge/reality is hogwash. Sounds like a good story though X) But there is no story better than HIStory.

Ephesians 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Psalm 12:6 The words of the Lord are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. Hebrews 11:3 Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear. Revelation 3:11 Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.

If the starving children survived by eating the dead at some point the population would equalize. Seems like a pretty simple solution to me.

How are there too many people? If there was too many people there would be a lot more wars over resources. There is plenty of room for expansion. Whether the growth is sustainable has yet to be seen, but it will get more and more interesting if it isn't.

We waste about 165 billion (40% of food produced) in food in the US...you guys think we need GMO's to produce all the food for this country? NO....we need to use our resources more efficiently and a lot of us need to consume less. heres my sources on the statistics i used.

What we need to do is localize our production, if every town/city started producing its own products there would be more jobs all over the country and we wouldn't need genetically modified food, especially if everyone actually used there fucking yards to grow so vegetables.
We don't fully know the effects of genetically modifying organisms. And as the article stated, it completely depends on how they are modified.
With that being said i am a little more concerned with pesticides.

I can assure you overpopulation is a problem. Feeding and supplying 7 billion people at the current time is extremely unsustainable. Sure hypothetically it could be done sustainably if no one was greedy, short sighted, destructive, or idiotic. Until that day comes the human race is the very definition of overpopulation.

GMOs aren't the problem, and pesticides is another problem completely separate from the issue. We don't fully understand the effects of anything either so I don't really understand what that is supposed to mean. We do know that it is a much more efficient way to grow produce. GMOs can have a longer shelf life which would save the consumer and the producer money. It would make exporting the product to remote parts of the world more feasible, and create less waste. Genetically modifying plants by screwing with their DNA isn't much different than selective breeding (something human beings have done for thousands of years). We need GMOs at this point. I doubt starving people in Africa give a shit about how those vegetables were grown. GMOs are the future, you either need to accept that or start buying seeds. I'll be in my bedroom eating an apple that tastes like a cow.
