To-Do's on Mushrooms

I feel like maybe the best thing to do with mushrooms is nothing, except thinking. But I have this issue with doing nothing, at least with meditating that's at least something, an activity, but I have a problem not doing stuff. Mushrooms make me feel awkward if I'm tripping out hard and I don't know what to do next.
Mushrooms are intense, and time dilation is pretty prominent, so having that much time to think is just an odd thing to me. It's beautiful and interesting, but just, when I think about it sober I think about the reasons I want to go into that mindset, and I can't think of anything super worthwhile besides experiencing something novel. I always think, and I can think just fine sober. I don't know...
Why do people keep going back to that shroom world? It doesn't make sense to me sometimes.

Personally, I like to lay down on my bed and cover my face with a sweatshirt or something I'm familiar with. I do this while listening to music that I enjoy while I'm sober and it always works out and I'm able to traverse multiple emotional states and come to terms with them. When I finally take the sweatshirt off my face it's very refreshing and I get up, stretch and go for a walk or something and give thanks to my life and the things that I have. I don't spend that much time with laying down with the sweatshirt on my face, maybe an hour or two. Other times I've layed on my couch and put one of the couch pillows on my face and seemingly peered into another universe for a bit and thought about my grandparents and how they're going to die and how awesome it was to have lived with them and all the wonderful things they did for me throughout my life.

Create a sensory deprivation chamber of sorts and delve into your psyche. That's good on high doses. I think the problem is people take a low dose and have one foot in reality and one foot in mushroom land so you play a kind of tug of war in your mind where you want to be enveloped in the mushroom experience but can't help grasping onto what you know to be reality. Being in nature is always good and seems like its hard to get bored with so much stimulus coming in. The trees the grass the sky the clouds the wind the sun the moon the bugs and sounds of animals. Idk mushrooms are crazy.

the sweatshirt is sort of a sensory deprivation as it makes it completely dark for me, but I still keep a light on in the room since I feel more comfortable that way.

I think the answer is in the question. Personally part of the reason I go back in, is because it doesn't make sense. Our brains are so hard wired into this reality, I think its healthy to shake those connections up once in a while. puts things into perspective for me.

Sometimes I pile a bunch of blankets and pillows in a closet and climb in and sit really still. It feels like your floating in space and can really trip you out lol. Coming out of the closet always feels like the biggest transition after being in a small space for so long. Going inside to outside always trips me out because your going from being confined in a building to an area of endless space. I actually try not to think at all and just feel with my emotions and focus on sensory details. The mind tends to screw up interpretating what your emotions are saying.
