is there a such thing

i have a floro light fixture that fits (2) 4 ft bulbs in it but, u cant take 1 out or the other wont work. i have these laying right ontop of my totes that i birthed. so my ? is that too much light is there a such thing as too much light when working with floros?

If your in the fruiting stage, yes. I'd say you only need about 2 hours of light on those a day. Floro lights may be overpowering for the pins.

The only reason I would think it would be too much light would be if it's drying out the substrate, which can happen. As a general rule, though, it's good to stay away from direct light, especially if it's intense light.

Any white light will do, but it's a lot better if it's indirectly shining on your stuff. I've had problems with direct light in the past. Just put it at an angle, or something, a good distance above the totes.

i just light mine by them sitting in the floor of my room
they get sunlight through the window
just the normal light cycle, i do cover with a blanket at night time since i watch some tv in my room, they do great
