in all seriousness though, this is a test jar I made when doing my latest grains. they were boiled for 10 minutes and steam dried and then I ran ou tof room in my pressure cooker, so left it as a test subject
it wasn't inoculated, so everything in ther has come from the grains themselves, and the air in my kitchen whilst drying...
there's some Trych, some black mould (which has also struck one of my pressure cookered jars with Allenii spores in, I'm gonna keep an eye on that and see who wins), bacterial shit and some orange stuff... and lots of lush white furry myc. curious to see if it could be anything intersting, but not sure what's gonna be my next step. should I throw it a hundred miles away from me? should I open it with an industrial mask on and add to a compost heap? should I add it to woodchips outside see if anything grows?
I think probably the former, but I'm a curious idiot who wonders what might come of this...
bubonic plague probably
cheers all

-------------------- The mushroom speaks: '"I am old, older than thought in your species, which is itself fifty times older than your history. Though I have been on earth for ages I am from the stars. My home is no one planet, for many worlds scattered through the shining disc of the galaxy have conditions which allow my spores an opportunity for life... How the hypercommunication mode operates is a secret which will not be lightly given to man. But the means should be obvious: it is the occurrence of psilocybin and psilocin in the biosynthetic pathways of my living body that opens for me and my symbiots the vision screens to many worlds"

Just don't open that inside and make sure to not breathe it in if you decide to muck around with it outside... seriously.

@ wowimflabberghasted
well, it was a joke really. a bad one, but a joke none the less
I was just curious to see what looked like fungi mycelium in there (with metabolites as well) with the bad stuff, but it's not really what you'd call 'science', more of a kid growing mould and going "ewwww, look at that shit" haha

I know it's all kinds of but it's sealed in there, so no harm eh?
