Fungus Mountain said: Is it safe to assume that stones are much easier to clean up if grown in straight grain?
Depends on the grain. I do whole oats (with the husk), and the little fuckers like to grow into the husks after they've hollowed it out and digested the grain. It's very difficult to clean, so I just don't, because a little fiber never hurt anybody.
