ok trying a grow bag for first time 2lbs. sterilized rye with self healing injection port from one of the sponsors, have them noc'd up with a ms syringe is it best to have the bag upright with the filter patch breathing normal? or is it better to fold filter patch down for less gas exchange(higher co2 for colonization, correct?)

I try to set them upright so it can breath. another peice of advice is that it's best not to touch the bag or move it around as this can slow down or stall growth.

right on! thank you i had them up and decided this morning to fold under with minimal movement. I know i did a wood sub in a bag with for a Lions Mane and had that folded under while the spawn took hold and the Lions Mane come up through the area that was not not as tight, so this round i wanted to throw this question out there for some feedback. I felt it would have possibly been better to have even tighter until ready to fruit but it did all on its own of course:) I shall pull the bags back to the upright position:) with minimal movement Thanks again Sky On!
