My home rh is like 20% in the room. Two shrooms were picked and just left sitting on foil with the ceiling fan on for like 10 hrs roughly. They seemed to get pretty dang dry...Room temp like 74.. The smaller of the two is like 80% dry while the other is like 60-65%.. Don't have any other drying method at the moment and I can't do oven right now because my brothers chick is here

Fan drying is good for getting them semi-dry for a descant chamber. They should be fine being out a while. I had previously fan dried mine for a couple days. Now I have food dehydrator, though I'm having issues at the moment hah.

I use exclusively shitty dehydrators and PCs, because I'm a fucking tightwad.

A shitty PC and a shitty dehydrator are like 50% of what you need to thrive in this hobby.

Just curious if either of you know this.. I seem to get confused. The next level of difficulty so to speak would be any off of the following correct? Pa. Copelandia Cyan, Trop, Cambo?

The other 50% is a mixture of a bunch of stuff.  I'd say another 25% is a SAB, and then the remainder is split among agar tools and supplies, spores, substrate materials and fruiting chambers.  But those are the big three, and the two that can't be improvised well are the PC and the dehydrator, followed by SAB.

All of those species are about as easy as the others.  In fact, it looks like cambodginiensis and cyanescens are the same species, according to the phylogenetic tree Alan Rockefeller made.

Spores.  If you get really close you'll see that some of it is blue-black from bruising, and some of it is purple-black from spores.  Totally normal.

My issue has been bunk fruits. I don't think it is related to the dehydrator though as it takes very high temps to reduce potency (upward of 300F I believe).

Genetics heh. Soon you'll be moving into agar and have a lot of fun there

A food dehydrator is one of the things an experienced grower should have in my opinion. Getting your fruits cracker dry in less than 12 hours.

The RH in my home also gets very low during the winter. It's about 24% right but I've seen it get as low as 15%. At times like these you can certainly get them cracker dry just by air drying, no need for a desiccant or dehydraotr/oven. It still takes a few days though.
