Is this felt OK?
    #21353015 - 03/02/15 05:54 PM (9 years, 2 months ago)

So I am going to be replacing my lids with new ones. I went walmart for a few new jar lids and to Hobby Lobby in search of 'EZ Felt'.
What I found is felt sheets.
Now I THOUGHT that felt is felt, and its all synthetic and so it should work just fine.
When I got back home I read on the internet that felt can be made from wool or synthetic materials. So my question is, is this stuff ok to use?

Google didn't help...
Does someone know for sure whether this is this stuff to use or not?

I have not used the soft kind, but I have used the stiff stuff with success. I got some contams with 1 layer, but 2 layers seemed to work fine. I really never trusted it though, so I didn't use it long.

Well contams suck!
I made a single lid so far... 3 layers deep.
They are all going to be made specifically for g2g transfers, so I dont need SHIPs.
With that said here is a few pics of the single lid I have and maybe after I get some sleep I will do the whole lot of em...

^^^ 2 layers

^^^ 3rd layer

Thanks bud
