Ok, so im a member over at the nexus, iv recently gotten into fungal growing as a hobby. Im currently in the fruiting phase with 7 cakes, another 9 still incubating. (Slowly I mite add). I was advised to come over here for my questions and problems.
So this coloring poped up, inbetween the first and second flush. Its a blueish green color. These cakes were fully colonized before these showed up. The pictures are not the best quality. Sorry about that but please any advice is appreciated.
The green makes me think of fungus, but its a mix of green and blue...ish. Kind of like bruising, but its on the cakes themselves not the mushrooms. I don't know if maybe the humidity is to high and causing everything to rot.
Some of the mushrooms stop growing and get slimy also.

It's just bruising. You said it yourself, in between flushes, you're handling the cake so you're bruising the mycelium.

Ok thankyou, concerning the mushrooms that are becoming slimey after they stop growing prematurely, is that just humidity or should I be worried?

It means you're probably misting too much. Do the caps get wavy too?

Make sure you fan after you mist.

High humidity will not cause anything to rot. Still stale air will though. You want humidity as high as possible with as much fresh air exchange as possible. Humidity fluctuations are normal obviously, even beneficial, but you generally want that humidity as high as possible. Luckily, SGFCs and monotubs are great at this when constructed and utilized properly.
