Time to start colonialize?

I have injected spores 2 days ago, and don't see yet any growth. After how much time should I get worried if there is no growth?

In some teks, they show just 3 days after, with visible growth. So you say I can wait 2-3 weeks for just initial growth. By the way I have Brazil stain, which was said to colonize quickly, though I am not sure about the quality.

My pf tek took about a week and a half to show any signs of life. 3 days would be unusually fast for spore syringe.

Yeah 3 days is pretty fast and would be suspicious if I had growth in 3 days. I knocked up some jars 5 days go and just saw first signs today had to really search for it though very hard to see

If your starting from spores it could be 3 days or 3 weeks. It's a gamble. If you check 3 times a day , it will just seem longer .

I forgot to mention I use whole Rye berries, and not rice flower. So I assume it is the same. Up to 3 weeks?

After 2 weeks I get impatient, and ordered new syringes. But today, after 2 and half weeks, on one of the three jars, I saw start of colonization...

Usual time is 2 weeks 1 week if its fast for multi spore inoculation. Those teks you said you saw might have used agar or lc techniques if they are getting growth that fast.

Yep could take awhile....
I've had some that started in as little as 3 days.
The ones I have going now are just showing spots of mycelium and it's been about 10 days.
Germination times can vary greatly depending on temps & varieties.

The new syringes I have ordered germinated in 3-4 days. I assume main difference is spore quality.
