trying to choose a substrate in bulk mono tubs

I have now harvested two tubs. I have been using 66at Clear tubs. One with miracle grow peat mix, gypsum, coffee grounds, and core. The other with jiffy peat mix, gypsum, coffee grounds, and core. Both tubs strain is koh sumai Spawned on 2 qrts of rye, and 2 qrts of WBS. So 4 qrts of spawn total in each tub
The miracle grow tub yielded 5 ounces dry and had beautiful Fruits also the spawn I used for this tub colonized within 2 weeks From a liquid culture. The jiffy tub spawn took 3 weeks and the tub Only yielded around 2 ounces. Also produced shorter fatter fruits that Are a lot smaller. I'm wondering was it the substrate or the spawn That caused the huge difference in the yields?
The liquid culture was made with a tissue culture taken From a multi-spore inoculation containing Karo syrup and Tap water pc,d at 15 psi I'll try to include some pics
I was hoping you guys could take a look and read over this and let me know what you think and maybe give me some pointers much appreciated.
Outreach I can't load pics some one please tell me how

Are you saying you are using miracle grow and jiffy mix as a substrate? Jiffy mix is used as a casing layer. We use vermiculite, coir, hpoo or straw as substrates. Whatever one you can find the cheapest, that's what I would use.

Your images aren't working. I have tried all different types and I just keep coming back to coir. Specifically EcoEarth 3pack bricks. Its easy, cheap, yields high, widely available, etc. I found a place online to get 24 bricks for $38. (PM me for a link if u want it)
Have you ever tried a standard coir mono? Very pleasant in my opinion.

I've only used CVG, but I love it. Very forgiving
