See if you can spot the mushroom that wound up in there that isn't a p. azure. No prize, just for kicks. This was from last year, and the one that doesn't belong was tossed.

ok, it won't let me upload the pic with it circled, but it is the one laying across the middle wich clearly exhibits blackish bruising and brown gills wich are sub-decurrent.

well; the apearant annular zone on the stipe got past me; however, the one i mentioned is still not an azure.

The "black" stemmed one is actually an azure. I will post a pic from a different angle which will help quell any doubts. That is, tomorrow, when my upload count is replenished.

the blackish coloration on the stipe is not my primary reason for saying it is not an azure, look at the gills.

Lol. Are you saying that your opinion of a digital photo on the internet is more valid than my first hand experience when it was in front of my face? Come on now, you should know that lighting does tricky things to photos. You should just bite the bullet and realize you were incorrect. Not the end of the world concretefeet.
