Trip Report: I'm not completely sober yet, but I'm definitely way past the peak. I cut up a 12" cutting of San Pedro into little pieces and removed the outer skin. I boiled these pieces in hot water for about an hour, making a tea out of them. I drank this nasty-tasting tea and even ate a few of the remaining pieces. It was disgusting.
I started feeling it while smoking weed with a friend. Not since my first roll have I felt a drug come on so suddenly. I went to the bathroom and puked, and within 5 minutes, I was feeling it coming on strong. I got a major body high, similar to mushrooms, yet unique in its own way. I spent much of the peak meditating over music, which was more enhanced than I'd ever experienced. My thoughts were racing, and I couldn't maintain a single one for very long. The body high faded rather quickly, but the CEV's and thought patterns remained. As I meditated, I started to lose my sense of body, and felt my mind expanding. Upon going to the bathroom, I saw how strong the OEV's were getting as I watched my face warp into a million shapes. During the voyage, I experienced every emotion known to man, from fear and pain to overwhelming ecstacy, sometimes simultaneously. I worked through a few personal issues that I won't get into and ultimately came out with a positive outlook on life. I feel I now have a better understanding of the human experience.

Ya. It was awesome. Unfortunately, right now it's still affecting me just enough to prevent me from getting some much-needed sleep.

that is some pretty gross shit isnt it? i think it is the worst taste i have experienced to date....but the pros far out weigh the cons
sounds alot like my first experience with san pedro. to me it almost feels like there is a certain "soberness" attached to this trip. i mean, my thoughts may be jumping around alot, but yet they seem to be structured in a way....i dont really know how to explain it, but i feel alot more "with it" on mescaline than psilocybin. glad you had a good time!

> cut up a 12" cutting of San Pedro into little pieces and removed the outer skin.
When I was working with the stuff, I found it easier to remove the skin in long strips and then cut it up into small chunks. I started by removing the spines first, then pulling the wax-paper like skin away. You have to work fast, or the stuff starts to turn into mush in your hands.
> I boiled these pieces in hot water for about an hour, making a tea out of them. I drank this nasty-tasting tea and even ate a few of the remaining pieces. It was disgusting.
How did you get rid of all the mucus crap? Or did you just suck down the snot? I usually skim as much scum off the top as I can while it is cooking, and then run the snot through a cheese cloth to try and filter most of it out. The taste is bad, but the look and the texture are much worse. *shiver* I can't imagine trying to eat the left over chunks... bleck!
Cool report!

Are you talking about some freaky higher dimension that you tapped into during your trip? A diameter that has its own diameter
