Popcorn Problems..I did something stupid
    #21327259 - 02/25/15 10:09 AM (9 years, 10 months ago)

I know this is really dumb but my impatience got the better of me and I tried to prepare my popcorn before my spores arrived. I don't know why I thought I could time it out..dumb. Anyway, so I soaked/boiled/dried my popcorn and pressure cooked it at 15psi for 90 min. When I took out the jars there was water in the bottom so I dumped them all out on a big piece of flat cardboard and now, 2 days later they're all dry.
My question...is this popcorn still useable? Can I just jar it all back up, PC it and inoculate like normal?
THanks

After PCing popcorn it is normal to see some standing water. Although if the popcorn hasn't reabsorbed the water after a day, you probably want to tweak your grain prep tek a little.
