you're concerned about the wrong things, room temp is fine and rh is an easy fix in any situation, passive and constant fresh air exchange is where your focus should be and those little airhoses are not gonna cut it for the long run IMO.

I bought that same kit you did , got me started but results were not great when I fruited with the pump setup they give you . Do yourself a huge favor and build a sgfc out of the tub they sent you. I did and have had way better results with my cakes!

Also sgfc isn't that just going to be room temp shouldn't it be around 78° for fruiting and 95-100% humidity

Gotcha mine does to , gets down 60 or lower at night in my grow room. They say the fluctuating air currents throughout the day with make your cakes fruit better.

Pretty simple to build though. 1/4 in holes on all six sides spaced 2in apart. That way the air flowing thru the perlite creates high humidity .

That's perfect. Trust me you'll be fine without any heaters. Your just overthinking it . I did the same thing when I started , using heating mats and humidifiers trying to keep it at 80 degrees and 100% humidity. Now I just throw my cakes in my sgfc , mist when I get up , when I get off work , and before I go to bed. Like a lot of guys on here say its hard not to get cubes to fruit.

Just harvested that cake last week. It was even a premade jar I bought from a sponsor and spore syringe. You can get some amazing results with a sgfc!

1/4 inch holes spaced 2 inches apart in a grid pattern on all six sides with4-5 inches of perlite on the bottom and keep it elevated with something like 4 jars on bottom(one in each corner) no need for anything else just keep your perlite moist and make sure to shut off any fans in the room, getting good light will also help then when the time comes to fruit take pics and we will keep helping ya

Pretty simple. All I did was use a marker and a tape measure and started at bottom putting dots every 2 inches then your next row is 2 in from that . so basically its a big grid over your whole tub ( lid also) on all six sides. Then just take a 1/4 inch drill bit and drill a hole every where you put a mark. Go easy though so you don't bust the plastic. I just searched for you , if you just put "sgfc" in the search bar , then click on that first post it will take you to the design and benefits of using it.

No first grow just pulled first jar colinized after soak and put it in for fruiting, what's the time expected from birthing to pin and from pins to harvest

alot of variables in that equation but generally speaking 7-10 days from birth to pin is a good average and also around 7 from pin to harvest

Holes should be placed 2" apart in a grid like pattern on all six sides. perlite should be between 3.5 and 5 inches deep. This is what I used to make my holes. http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B000VRTG8Y/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?qid=1424880153&sr=8-1&keywords=wood+burning+tool&dpPl=1&dpID=41EwF24HykL&ref=plSrch&pi=AC_SY200_QL40

Tubs and perlite are super cheap. You could always build one out of New material and then just transfer the cake(s).

If you see you are getting too much FAE and drying things out then try covering it, but I wouldn't at first, unless it's blowing directly at it.

No. Drip shields were to avoid water on the mushrooms/pins. We now know it's unecessary because mushrooms love water and survive rain storms.
Certain species DO NOT, however, like water put on them for ANY reason and will rapidly abort at the slightest rain. These are not cubensis so don't worry about it but I felt like I had to tell you so you didn't leave this thread with misinformation.

So then why do we fan them so they dry after we mist if water id good I understand it takes that to pin but wouldn't they be better just misted and drenched in water then?
