I Miss RR!

The shroomery is going down with out him. Most of you who read and parrot his posts don't know what is was actually like to be around when he was posting.
I really need a strong, positive role model around here, and I am sorry to say, despite a few of you, I am just not finding it here. That really sucks too, because you are driving the bright people out of your own so-called-scene.
The mushroom cultivation scene should be about cooperation and the general demystification about the subject for the next guy.

What's your old account? I haven't seen Frank post since I have been back. Last time I was lurking mush cult was before Frank even became a TC. He was posting at quite a high frequency at the time of my recollection though.

RR was overrated in the whole "helpful" department.
Whenever I read a post of his it usually was him acting all superior to everyone else.
I respect his knowledge, though.

All-pervading, unfailing,
I do not know its name; I call it tao.

Flowing out means far-reaching;
Being far-reaching, it is said to return.
It's just a shot away..

RR's word was pretty damn close to infallible, Bill. Sucks you are not emotionally stable enough to handle that.

I hear you man. But I dunno I started lurking on here again about a year ago after a long abcense and Ive gotten to know the regulars a bit, there are a good few cultivators on here that I really do value their input and trust thier advice, yourself included. The TC's are great right now

One man does not make a forum. RR's contribution was large but that does not mean that in his absence we cannot continue. Truth be told, I see many great posts being made all the time that further our understanding of the hobby. The notion of replacing RR is ludicrous but that should not diminish the efforts being made by others. We can still learn.

Not that I didn't always get all giddy when RR chimed into my threads to tell me why I was wrong, but I have learned more from the current TC's than any one of the pre 2010 erra. Let me name them for a second.

Nobody said he does, and nobody said we aren't and still are.
That being said, I miss RR.
