How much has happened?

If the unfolding of the universe thus far could be represented by a percentage complete, what would we, as cosmopolitans, be at? 42%? 0.0042%? 96%? 9.99999999%? 0.000000000000000000000000000000001%? What does your gut tell you?

The universe is supposed to die of heat stroke in the future.

I believe our universe is very very young. We got hundreds of billions of years left so we are like 0.1%

Since evidence shows the universe is expanding at a faster and faster rate and no theoretical limit to such expansion this discussion is pointless.

if what we are tought is true then even as i wrote this countless stars have formed, collapsed, merged and got sucked in to gravity fields. I do not believe we can even comprehend such massive events..
My gut... 0%? Since if the dark matter is limitless and space is a vaccum then big bang will keep on going for eternity. I am no astrophysicist though.

i've heard tale that the universe is not complete until all units of consciousness are one with the light of the entire universe and knowledge and full potentiality and whatnot.

The universe didn't exist until there was some conscious being around to observe it. So maybe not that much has happened.

You have top define what end of the universe first to have any chance to guess the answer. For me, I consider it the end of all matter, which would require all atomic particles to have fully decayed.
Since you'd be waiting longest for the protons to decay in something like 10 to the 29th power years, and then wait for the resulting pion and positron to decay, too (something like another 4.6 x 10 to the 26th power years possibly) and we think the universe has been around for only about 13.798 x 10 to the 9th power, my guess is that the universe is just barely an embryo with a very long life ahead, although getting spread out incredibly fast.
