Help choosing a fruiting chamber

Hi guys, first time poster here, I've read through the boards for a long time though.
This will be my second grow, PF TEK, first grow was from a wild mushroom I picked, jars colonised, I created a SGFC but never got the fruits. No fruits also appeared from inside the jar itself. Wasn't sure whether the mushroom spores were inactive or something? Also I had a pretty rough time keeping humidity up in my old apartment, other plants in my house suffered.
I'm now in a different house, other plants inside are thriving. My new jars are colonising, using a pre purchased spore print that I received in the mail.
I'm hesitant about putting them into a SGFC again. I also doubt I will be able to mist and fan 3-6 times a day with my new job. I could mist morning and night but I feel that won't quite cut it. I was thinking of something a touch more automated, I've looked over the fruiting chambers posted on the shroomery, but everyone has an opinion and a reason that automated chambers are no good.
I'd love some advice, money isn't a problem but I also feel that I'm not ready to throw together something as large as a martha.
Any help would be appreciated, cheers, Skyda xx

Well, if you're playing with cakes, why not a SGFC? I mean, what's your idea of an alternative? Do you have some ideas already?
I run a completely closed system that I developed myself from the junk that came with a GK I ordered in the beginning. Oh, the beginning........I don't like to remember those days anymore.
It works like a mutherfucker now, but I had to figure shit out pretty quickly because there weren't many people who I could ask questions to. I'm the only guy I know who grows with a system like this. I'm sure it's being done somewhere else by someone, but I haven't found the feller yet...
You can be creative if you just remember that you are trying to create a very specific atmosphere inside a plastic tub. How you get to those parameters is open to interpretation........as so colorfully evidenced right here in our own MC forum...

Thanks for the help guys!. I've looked over mono tubs and I like what I'm seeing, mini mono's look great. I've never spawned to coir before, but it shouldn't be a problem, all I gotta do is follow the instructions right!?
and for Nativeenglish, there's just something about my failure with the SGFC that makes me want to try something different, and as I said, I don't think I will be able to mist and fan all day long. I'm looking forward to being able to toy with the parameters someday, but right now I'm not altogether sure of the exact condition I'm looking for, because I haven't yet achieved fruits! I could definitely give it another shot though, everyone seems to love the SGFC...

if you live in a very dry climate you may want to mist your SGFC quite often. bucket tek I'd recommend not using verm in the bucket tek as cakes are already 2/3's verm. half a brick of coir + 2 qt's boiling water in a bucket, stir, cover, wait for 1-2 hrs, voila. crumble/break up/cheese grate your cakes into the coir in a mini mono, let colonize and bam!
its really really easy!

Yeah, that's what I think too. It is the overwhelming majority of people messing with cakes who will tell you that the SGFC is the Holy Grail of FC's. I honestly use the system I do only because I was so pissed-off about having spent good money on a GK. I was just bound and determined to re-invent it and make the shit work somehow. Most of the damn thing I still haven't figured out what to do with. Anybody want to help me design a dehydrator out of a fish aquarium heater?
...otherwise I would have an SGFC right now!
