I made some brf spawn in wrong jars. some of them I used to p2g etc. But I have a couple left. Was just going to open the tops and renew the verm layer. I don't need to dunk this correct? Or should I even though it's in the jar

What do you mean renew the verm layer?
You mean opening them at 100% and switching out the dirty verm with clean verm as casing?
Post a photo of the jars.

Ya. I'm just taking off the old verm and put on new verm. Keep the lid off and fruit like that. Just didn't know if I should try to dunk it first

I would. Why can't you get the cake out? Even the tall untaperd hAlf pints you can slide the cake out.
If you can't, scrape off the dirty verm, rims it off and submerge the whole jars overnight. Then add new verm and fruit in SGFC

Yeah, for sure. If you are going to fruit them invitro, just remove your verm layer and put the water right in the jar with the cake. Let it soak overnight and in the morning just pour the water off and put into fruiting conditions.

Well I don't use casing when using jars because there's really not much room with my pint jars. I just haven't thought about dunking them
Thanks bro. I was looking on Google pictures of old trippy pictures. There's post to be another girl next to her and mars is her head or the sun.

I have a thing for vintage psychedelia. Search vintage blaclight posters on ebay, they run close to 150 for the cool ones but Mann are they cool

I've seen logs where they talked about putting it in the pot because the pressure of the water helped it soak in more.. thoughts?

I don't really know about that one. The way I thought dunking and rolling was only for rehydration.

Dunking is for rehydration. and verm is to act as a micro climate. I'm saying putting in a pot vs water just sitting in jar, the pressure of the amount of water in the pot supposedly helps it to soak in more water for rehydration

I think you could just submerge the whole jars right?

I don't know about that one, I've got my own way of dunking.

I'm just going on what I've read on RR's notes that it's really good to dunk. I'll dunk my cakes but not my in-vitro jars. Maybe I should start.
