Dog Dreams

So, perhaps everyone is farmiliar with dogs, when they dream, they seem to twitch, like they are chasing something.
my own dog twitches her paws, and her ears, and sometimes she dozes off with her eyes half open, and i can see her eyes following dream prey, and her nose twitching. Not unusual. so dogs dream in all senses, so do I sometimes, and I think that is cool.
Now, just tonite, as I was posting elsewhere, my dog dozing by the computer table, and I hear a thumping sound. I look around, and I see that lo and behold, my dog is slowly wagging her tail. I quetly lean back on my chair, and see her eyes are closed, she is exibiting the signs I have come to associate with dog asleep. I have never before seen my dog wag her tail in sleep. The only time she wags her tail is in response to human praise or when we are getting realy for a walk. So, my question is, do dogs dream of acceptance, and affection? I had never thot them to be complex enough for this, and the questions and implications it raises are mind-boggling, to me.
Does my dog dream of my acceptance and approval?

Re: dreams: I have a real old German Shepherd mix (no idea what the other part is, adopted her from the shelter) and she's always been doing that, I see her run, bark I guess (just sort of half welps, not complete sleep barks), wag her tail, and do that paw thing they do when they want some of your food or when they decide to punch you in the face at 3 am when they wanna go outside (why cant the damn thing cant open the door itself?). Re: thought complexity: I always wanted to make her eat some mushrooms or something along those lines (acid? ) but I'd be worried not only for her health (In dog years she'd be about [7 x 14 = 98] Would you want to let your hundred year old grandmother trip?) but I'd also be worried about giving her a bad trip because theres absolutely no way to let her know what's about to happen in about an hour...

It's been done before. Hunting dogs in South America are given their own kind of Ayahuasca to make them better hunters and help coordinate the hunt. The vine chosen is one that contains both harmaline/harmine and n,n-DMT. I don't know the proportions given for the weight. later.

i was suprised too when my dog wagged his tail while sleeping. when he awoke, he seemed to be dissopointed... friend of mine said that dogs have no narrative sense of time nor fantasy. so, if the dog wags tail or barks in asleep, it?s just an exact reconstruction of the moment that has been. this surely fits fine with my dog and his confused/accusing face when he wokes up..
