For right now I would say the biggest fingerprint is that of Napoleon. HOWEVER, that is really looking at things as a contiunation of the twentieth century. Looking ahead to the dominant trends that will surely play out in this century, I think my ultimate answer would have to be Mao. It has become appallingly clear that China will be the U.S. of this century. It's already happening.

Tricky question because everyone is influenced by those who came before. I want to suggest religious figures, Jesus, Muhammad, and Siddhartha Gautama, though I wish Sid was at the top of the list.

If all is One then we are those people more or less or not. I don't have an answer to this question.... probably Hank Rutherford Hill though his devotion to high quality propane and propane accessories is a gift to mankind, most holy and sacred, divine!
-------------------- I am the MacDaddy of Heimlich County, I play it Straight Up Yo! ....I embrace my desire to feel the rhythm, to feel connected enough to step aside and weep like a widow, to feel inspired, to fathom the power, to witness the beauty, to bathe in the fountain, to swing on the spiral of our divinity and still be a human...... Om Namah Shivaya, I tell you What!

Besides rothschilds, id say the person who introduced the trade system "exchange items for gold coins" i dont remember who it was, but he created financial system ( which evolved to what we have today).
Also the person who wrote the testament, bible etc.
It really depends like, we dont know shit about the past, we only read what someone wrote that happenedvin the past...
this question requires too much raw knowledge to be answered by more than few people i guess

The problem with answering with the obvious there, is that no one knows anything about Jesus the man. Who he was, what he did -- even what he said has been embellished beyond belief. All we have are the writings of some of his contemporaries, which have been transcribed, translated and outright changed over a span of two thousand years.
It is my contention that we don't really know a thing about Jesus, as an individual, at all. So how can we speak meaningfully about any influence on his future he may have intended -- or about any unintended influence on his future he couldn't have even guessed at?
