By the way, nice pic dude! That root growth is insane. Bet he's much happier in the ground.

Now that's what I'm talking about. I'm in the suburbs but what I really need is a couple of acres, then I could rule the world.

Man ferrel, that pic sure has me convinced that this is the year mine is going in the ground. Mine is in a pot that is at least the size of whatever pot you had him in if not a little bigger. No roots poking out yet, but if he gets any bigger (i know he will) he won't make it back inside next winter. It's already hitting the cieling in my enclosed porch and is a fight just to fit it in the door...
Cmon, spring time, hurry up and get here!

I only got 2 from last year's clones. Those are regenerating leaves and didn't die with the cold weather. You gonna need a tree to actually survive any cold temperature. But it can be done. I threw kratom out there years ago to see if they would survive experiments in colder states.

How big was yours when you put it out for good? I mean, mine is bent over from scrubbing the 8ft cieling on my porch (granted, it's in a pot...). Think he is old enough this year? I just can't see bringing him back in next winter...

Ferrel, how old was your plant before you started to clone it?
Just checked, yay some definite branching going on now at the top and at the base!

Woot! Coming along nicely! It won't be long before you find yourself wondering how a plant could possibly grow so fast. Keep enough space for his roots, and that thing will be as tall as you by the end of next growing season!

But you can clone it anytime you want as long as you can get cuttings from it. There is no set age when you can take from it. You can take 1 clone as soon as you patent has roots.
