Liquid Culture Help

So i have a few PF Teks under my belt now, with little to no loss to contamination. Ive even followed the Lazy mans guide to making a spore syringe and it worked perfectly for my last PF Tek.
Ive ordered spores from Spores101 previously with no issues with syringes. So i ordered again to start my progression into Bulk growing. I recieved two syringes and i prepared my liquid culture. I used maple syrup added to a jar of water, that i had boiled. Then i pressure cooked the jars for i believe 1hr @ 15PSI and allowed to cool over night. The next day i put the jars in a glove box, gathered all my supplies. Cleaned myself up and flame sterilized and injected the spores (believe i used about 1-1.5cc per jar). Ive had these jars sitting on a temp controlled heat mat at about 82*f for about 2 weeks, then i was reading and someone suggested 85F so i adjusted for that.
So my question is this. Can you guys look at these jars and tell me if these all look contaminated?
Both Jars - Side by side
Strain 1 - Both jars are cloudy with whispy growth
Strain 2 - Both jars are clear, with small dotted growth

the jar on the left looks like it has no growth, 99% chance that jar will never do anything good. The jar on the right, (the cloudy one) did you swirl that before you took a pic? If yes it's impossible to evaluate, if no.. that jar is in big trouble, bacteria probably.
What brand of syrup are you using and how much are you using?
20 minutes should be good for sterilization, 1 hour is probably overkill.

The crown brand basically looks like high fructose corn syrup to me, you might want to read up on it as that is not what is generally used for lcs (and probably for good reason). The ingredients say glucose-fructose which is what high fructose corn syrup is. If you look up the wiki definition of corn syrup you "Corn syrup is a food syrup which is made from the starch of maize (called corn in some countries) and contains varying amounts of maltose and higher oligosaccharides, depending on the grade."
So the front label "corn syrup" and the back label do not match up, in otherwords, misleading advertising.
Organic honey might be a good one, or get some malt extract online.

I'm reading up on high fructose on the shroomery, getting conflicting answers, it's unclear if it's good for lc or not.

also they are looking like caramelized, do not over cook these things. i had done 10 jars last time i did lc. i used 4 cc honey for 100cc distilled water. (my jars are 210cc) it is okay to cook the honey for 10-15 minutes and that will work. liquid matters can sterelize earlier then solid matters, and thats another reason for not to overcook.

It's impossible for a lc of this kind to be carmelized, what your seeing are the byproducts of a maillard reaction. And I agree that it's not desirable in this case, shorter cooking times would have been better for you because the maillard reaction is binding up what little amino acids (essential to the viability of the lc IMO) that were in the syrup to begin with (as impurities).
