The alkaloid responsible for changing Psilocybin into Psilocin is present in the body and liver. It's also present in Lemon Juice.

You're trying to say that mushrooms naturally have this alkaloid. I don't believe this because then the mushrooms would be more Psilocin then Psilocybin. There is a distinct difference between Fresh and Dry mushrooms. Fresh have a different trip and more "kick".

You're saying that's the alkaloid level and not the fact that I didn't dry out all of my Psilocin?

Very blind naive ppl, you guys need to get off this high horse you are on and realize that you don't know everything, some stuff you do and there is some that you don't. There is no answer on paper or on the web because Its never been answered, but every bit of information is in front of you and you just have to wise enough to see it

"After ingestion of the psilocybin compound alkaline phosphatases present in the body's digestive system, kidneys, and possibly in the blood readily cleave the phosphoryl ester bond from psilocybin, yielding the hydroxyl compound, psilocin."

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Psilocybe

Yes there are. Psilocybin becomes Psilocin by adding an -OH group. The mushroom does not do this.

You must truly be a once-in-a-generation mind to be able to speak to science majors.

Nope.

Didn't realize being a science major made me an expert in mushroom growing... I studied philosophy with a focus on physics so I like to think I have an open mind. If you can't be challenged and present evidence then don't make a claim.

Welcome to science,

I also have a natural science degree and yet haven't found the need until now to mention it, although shroomgod seems pretty keen on flashing his credentials (We will see once some mods get onto him if he is 'all that').
