It's actually The Book of Karl

--------------------

Ephesians 6:12
For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
Psalm 12:6
The words of the Lord are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times.
Hebrews 11:3
Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.
Revelation 3:11
Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.

The egyptians and myans measured time at a much larger scale than we do measuring time by jesus's death.  They measured theirs based on the time it takes for the earth's axis to complete a 360 degree wobble lasting about 25,000 years.  The age of pisces is ending so in a sense sure but we are also experiencing rebirth in the age of aquarius which is the uquivical first day of spring for the planet meaning we are coming out of a metophorical winter

We do not measure time since Jesus' death.  It's just a random calender number.

Actually we record time by His Birth.

BC - Before Christ

AD - Anno Domini which means "In the year of the Lord" in latin.

No.  We do not.  It is just a random date just like the thermometers we use.  I believe 0oC is actually 273oK which is also 32oF.  The Jews have their own calender.  It is just a random reference point just like the months we use which is the Julian calender.  Named after a heathen, I might add.

0 celsius is not random. They based it on freezing point of water.

metric makes sense

Why didn't they base it on the freezing point of mercury?  The only one that isn't random is Kelvin.

If it is incorrect how come we use it? Massive Christian influence? I don't think so. Christianity didn't start until what some believe to be around 30 AD. I believe if Christ wasn't What He claimed then we wouldn't have bothered using His Life to record time. His Birth was prophesied to the exact day in the Book of Daniel which was done hundreds of years prior to Anno Domini.

Even then, the scale of the units are random.

Everything is random. The characters which compose this post are random.

If this place is random how is it that a seed does what it was programmed to do? How is it that when people mate a child is born? How come that child's heart pumps blood efficiently? These are not random events set in motion by other random events. These are strategic plans set in forth by an all knowing Programmer.

"Arbitrary" is probably a better word for it than "random". It's not like they just rolled an infinity sided die.
