I can't even reply to your comment. You pedestrian knowledge of economics is far outweighed by your ego... in addition , your snarky replies and holier than thou attitude rubs me quite the wrong way

I will say prevailing wages are bs. I was already making 22 an hour then on state projects we got 34. really, do we really need that much more. i think 22 an hour is plenty fair considering I was only there for the summer. this was doing road construction.

I don't think difficult questions equate to a "holier than thou" attitude.

And if you think one guy spending $30,000,000 a year is better than 100 people spending $30,000 a year, it's your knowledge of economics that's 'pedestrian'.

I am in a minority on the shroomery, as I frequently defend the opposing side when they have a point about something or when my side make believes something about them.  I also attack my side if I think they're wrong.  People here get very confused by that and think it means I prefer the other side.

It's not the "difficult questions".

You cannot legislate the poor into prosperity by legislating the wealthy out of prosperity. What one person receives without working for another person must work for without receiving. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for that my dear friend is the beginning of the end of any nation. You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it. ~ Adrian Rogers

I don't know what point you're trying to make, but the first example leads to more total spending than the second.

The point is 100 people consuming 100 different things is better for the economy than one person consuming one thing.

It's a refutation of the tired saying "rich people are job creators." Consumption creates jobs, not opulence.

But 30 million dollars of consumption is still better than 3 million.

It's not a non reply, it's me refusing to put up with your rude snarky comments.

I've read tons if threads in here, and debating with you is like playing chess with a pidgeon. No matter how well the person debating you is at chess, you just strut around the board, knocking stuff over and shitting everywhere and act like your superior. So no, I won't answer you because, frankly, I think you are a rude asshole.

Clear enough for you?

Debate isn't supposed to be an insult fest, but you obviously feel the need to talk down to anyone that disagrees with you.

You say that a debate shouldn't be an "insult fest", but you're the only one making comments like "you are a rude asshole."  Frankly, this is in violation of the forum rules, and if you want to continue to post here, you're going to have to learn how to abide by those rules.

P.S. It would also be a good idea for you to learn how the reply to feature works.

Good catch.  Should have compared it to one guy spending $3,000,000.
