Cubensis overcoming green mold. ?!

I have been cultivating cubensis for a while. I usually throw out contaminated jars as soon as a colorful spot shows up. this time.. I used a multispore inoculation from a spore print and it was a lot of work so I simply didn't feel like throwing my work so early.. I said let's keep it so the shelf has something to itself and not be empty.. this was an agar culture from spores into an LC then into the substrate...
somehow the mold filled half the jar or three quarters and the mycelium had the rest..then it stood like that.. usually it happens that the white becomes gray then green.. but the white became whiter and the green became grayer with cobweb like appearance.. then it turned into mycelium white... I am waiting on the war to finish to see who will be victorious in the end.. BUT if the mycelium does win.. knowing how weak cubensis is compared to mold.. is this an aggressive strain that I should keep forever.. one of a kind ?
if so i will G2G this jar for the rest of my life...

Brother, unless you have one king-hell flowhood, you probably have 4-5 contaminations in that jar. Your system sounds work intensive with a plethora of places for contamination to occur.
What is far more likely than the super mold resistant strain development, is a big-ass rats nest of cobweb. Without photos, it's anyone's guess as to what you have there though...
How does it smell?

Your original mycelium isn't going to recover, man. I'm sorry. I'd bet my PC on it.
You could make the rest of us really happy by posting pics of that horrible jar, though. We collect pictures of horrible contams. Rest assured that it's in no way illegal to cultivate a jar full of Trichoderma.
+5 to you if you do.

As soon as you spawn it, the mean green will rear it's ugly face once again.

Pictures of this possibly carnivorous cubensis. It'd be awesome if it was a super strain. But most likely tons of contams.

Dream on. I've seen cubensis mycelium colonize right over top of trich many times in grain jars and I too was fascinated by it. But not once did my bulk sub completely colonize before triching out. Why waste time and money? It's best to just cut your losses and start over.

Like insanemmike said, once that hits the air when put into fruiting conditions, it will more than likely blow up. I certainly wouldn't use it for any type of spawn.... Sorry though man.

OK, now your getting somewhere. These photos are not too great, but I think you have plenty for people to look at and give educated opinions on.
As for me, I think you absolutely do have cube myc there. Actually, very pretty cube myc at that......BUT I also know that as soon as you put that into a free oxygen environment, you will have a bloom of some pretty malicious stuff in very quick order.
Really, if it colonizes, there's no reason you couldn't try to fruit it invitro, and at the very first sign of trich, you can just toss it. Who knows? You might get crazy lucky!
P.S. Sorry to hear about your ex-gf stripper program. You'll think of something else.....I'm sure.

I think the first sign of mold has already occurred

Agreed.
...but I really want to know more about the ex-gf stripper program! Does no one else wonder what the hell he's talking about?

EXIF. It's the data that accompanies a photo. Sometimes it's even geotagged, which can tell everyone exactly where you were when you took the picture with your phone.
But I thought shroomery did scrub EXIF.

Dude, when you use the term stripper around me, it better have something to do with girls, poles, and dollar bills.......or I'm just fuckin' gonna be lost. I mean, I've scrubbed some strippers in my day, but I don't know if any of them were geotagged. If they were, would they be able to find out where I'm living today?

Stay away from strippers. Most of them are contaminated.

LMAO

How the hypercommunication mode operates is a secret which will not be lightly given to man. But the means should be obvious: it is the occurrence of psilocybin and psilocin in the biosynthetic pathways of my living body that opens for me and my symbiots the vision screens to many worlds"

My one buddy tried to hook up with a stripper and ended up with trich.

Well theres your problem. You got corn in your mold. If you just find away to isolate that corn away from the mold you might have a chance at it.

I think I'll just wait until the mycelium covers all the trich then give it a shake... then consolidate twice.. then give it a go at life..
either the shy shroomguy will prevail or die and live to fight another day in all my other jars..
