My favorite move in the whole NBA is Wade’s Eurostep Silky smooth every time.

Now days it seems like John Wall has the smoothest shit.

Rose is like you clench up every time he drives because. Is he gonna get hurt? oh shit how did he get that off? It went in, wtf....

Right on. Wade was the first player in the NBA to have a truly fluid Euro-Step.

His fadeaway jumpers are also a thing of beauty.

As far as the beloved crossover goes. I think Kyrie Irving is amazing at it.

I rarely get chances to see John Wall play, but when I watch highlights every single play he runs are just so fluid.

Have you seen any of the videos of one of LeBron's kids (LBJ Jr.) playing? I think he's like 9 years old. If he keeps going the way he is then holy shit! He's gonna be a superstar one day.

He's a hell of a lot better than I ever was as an adult and he's barely out of diapers. I hope he follows in his father's footsteps.

Shit,I didn't even realize tonight was the last of league play before the All Star break.

I think this year's best event is gonna be the 3 point contest.

You got Korver, Curry, & Harden participating. Should be really interesting.

I try to get excited about the dunk contest, but the last few years have been so lame, gimmicky, and last year's format barely made sense.

Aside from the allstar game and celeb allstar (just to see celebs make fools of themselves) game all the other events seem so pointless. At least they did away with the freshmen vs sophmore class game, but it seems they replaced it with something even worse.

What the fuck is a "Degree Shooting Stars Challenge"? This is the description on nba.com

NBA, WNBA stars align in sharp-shooting competition

Really!? :facepalm2:

Has anyone else noticed that eye poking is like the new basketball hate crime?

Fucking Three Stooges out there.

ASG= Hawks Vs The West

I don't like it.

LeBron gave Kevin Love some crazy cornea injury going for a rebound while playing vs the Heat the other night, but yea man. 3 stooges is a good analogy as to how they're getting cheap shots in nowadays.

As much as I want to see ATL win the East this year, I'm still not 100% sold on them despite their record. I think Cleveland is gonna consistently get better in the 2nd half of the season. The Wizards and Raptors are also wild cards outs there to take it.

EC playoffs this season are gonna be so damn weird...and not in a good way.

I'm very happy with the Hawks and think they're playing the right kind of ball. Solid d. Passing - finding great shots. Going hard in the paint.

But oh yeah - they can lose. I ain't counting no chickens. But still, they are doing it right.

Yet the best-known parts of the event are largely restricted. Tickets for the All-Star Game (on Sunday night at Madison Square Garden) and for the slam-dunk contest and other competitions (on Saturday evening at Barclays Center) were not made available for public sale for the fifth straight year. Only a small percentage of the seats were even offered for purchase by season-ticket holders of the two host teams, the Knicks and the Nets.

The people's game.

Yessir. Their ball movement is awesome.

That unselfish type of basketball is what's making them so good this season. The benefit of not having any one true star on the team.

Just a deep roster with all above average players. Their depth on the bench is probably the best in the league right now.

@Zappa: All star weekend is really just for the players and their families, sports writers, and celebrities. It stopped being about the fans a long time ago.

At least the playoffs including the finals aren't like that as it is with the Super Bowl in the NFL. I believe only 20% of the crowd at the SB are actual fans that you would see during a regular season games.

That's because there are home games in the NBA playoffs and season ticket holders get seats.  Same thing for the NFL playoffs.  The Super Bowl isn't a home game for anybody.

John Wall is a beast.

Existing before Heaven and Earth,
Silent, still, standing alone, unchanging,

If forced to give it a name, I call it
Great (ta). Being great, it flows out;
Flowing out means far-reaching;
Being far-reaching, it is said to return.

It's just a shot away..

Yea he is. I watched him play quite a lot last year.

I'm just now really starting to get into the NBA season since NFL is over. So I haven't had many opportunities to watch Wall play, but like I said, from the highlights I've seen he's only getting better.

Bledsoe, Wall, Unibrow, Noel, Cousins, Knight, Rondo, a bunch of others for the bench.  You could win an NBA championship with just UK alumni.  There's gonna be even more next year.

UK's current team could probably take down half the teams in the NBA Eastern Conference right now.

They are looking great.

I made sure to watch my favorite part of NBA season - the slam dunk contest. I thought, oh to be 19 again, how the fuck did I get so old?

Anybody with any thoughts about Durant's anti-media comments during ASG break?
