Can people live together?

Do you think it's possible that we throw our "nations" and "religion" away, and live together as equal people? I think nations is a modern form of tribes, that once we needed to survive - but not anymore. Religion, on the other hand, is way harder to toss away. Or even if we don't just forget about it but live in harmony, when everyone believes in whatever he wants, we still have aggressive religions such as Islam that won't let that happen.
What do you guys think?

We can still all have those things. We just need to learn to love everyone no matter their views. Its really as simple as that. The problem is people in power are corrupt and typically create struggle between ourselves, which people need to wake up to. As i have said many times, "power corrupts, absolute power corrputs absolutly". Change needs to come from within and unfortunatly most people are to egotistical to change, im probably no exception

I definitely agree with you completely on nations. Government is the source of nearly all of the problems in the world. Governments steal and kill more than any entity on the planet.
I disagree with you about Islam though. Sure there are violent Muslims but there are violent Christians too. It says in the bible that gays should be stoned to death. The bible permits owning slaves and beating them. There is violence in religions other than Islam.

Islam was just an example with which most agree. Christianity and Judaism aren't any more peaceful.

I predict that in the near future, similar countries will merge together. In the far future there will be a world government and in the very far future, each planet will be considered an independent system. In the far far future, groups of planets will be only one etc etc

I think so or at least I hope that one day the human species will get a long.
We are so far away from that currently that I see no way it happening in our lifetimes.
One day in the very distant future if we haven't all blown each other up by the end of this century, we'll be one big happy human family.
