Wood substrate jars: Do I still shake after PC? (hurry, they're cooking now)
    #21290968 - 02/17/15 09:34 PM (9 years, 10 months ago)

Using sawdust and mulch. Do you still shake the jars like you would if you were cooking WBS or rye?

I would think so since its for moisture distribution. My only concern is that the sawdust will stick all over the bottom of the lid and filter.

Thoughts?

I've never used it, but how else would you distribute the inoculant?

Why would it matter whether it was hot or not? I never take my jars out of the PC until the next day, so not sure man.
