Lex is a joke, I've told him that to his face before too.
I've taken issue with him for well over a year and I'm super thrilled people are finally realizing how big a hypocrite/sham he is. Oh well his pins will still sell for $100+ a pin.
If you're into original Nectar artwork/pins you should check out Kooz.

Eh I've paid $60 for a pin before, but that;s just because I had been looking for it for 2 plus years. The seller even threw in V2 of the pin as well.
I've got a really big Alice in Wonderland/ Bassnectar pin collection so this classic was a MUST have.

Damn, that guy sold 13 gay ass pins for over 1000$.

I don't really understand how a scene gets to be so much about image while ignoring the fact that the music sucks.

If you think that's crazy you should see how much some of his concept sketches have sold for at auction.

I bought a pin once on a Phish lot. I was high as fuck on some good heroin and PCP and wanted to commemorate how trashed I got, so I picked up a neat pin for like 15$. I made sure to get one that wasn't band related or anything, it's a chunk of emerald sitting on a cloud. The cloud represents how high I was.
But for real 404, people are spending like 1000$ at one time on 13 pins. This is happening in our world.

People actually wear those horrible pieces of pewter and epoxy out in public and think they look "cool"?

Apparently so. Spend thousands of dollars on them. Those things cause turf battles and shit. Basshead on basshead crime.

Hmm sounds profitable I would also have no problem contributing to "Brostep" violence as long as it's against other "Bro's"

I had no idea it was a DJ. I thought it was a band. Pretty good.
I still prefer actual bands

LOL, that first video is hilarious. He's acting like he's actually doing something to the music, but he's not. He just cues up a track, presses play, and then dances to it. There could be an onboard effects processor, but I didn't hear any efx. Dude's not mixing in or out, he's literally just playing songs off his laptop.

I was unaware of the pin phenomenon, I have a few from Dead shows but I traded fireworks or paid like ten bucks for em while I toured in my 89 dodge Omni (baby blue). WTF is this world coming to 10-20 bucks for a dose and 1000s on pins??? I could LIVE on 1000 for two months comfortably..... Oh well, guess I am getting old.

yeah, i scrolled up after i posted and read that part. that's crazy dude, i would never spend that on a chunk of metal with some color on it. ten bucks is pushing it even.
and, LOL "I made sure to get one that wasn't band related or anything, it's a chunk of emerald sitting on a cloud. The cloud represents how high I was."
