Knocking up Contammed Jars?

Hey guys,
I'm sure this has been tried but has anyone thought to knock up a jar that has contammed? I usually have 1/10 jars contam. When they do I PC them for 90 minutes or more. Autoclaving for that long should effectively kill everything that was living in the jar. Why not shoot it up with LC again? Especially something really agressive like Oyster. My Oyster jars colonize in like a week. Shouldn't this be fast enough to stop the contam from showing up again?
Just a thought. I hate throwing out bad jars. Such a waste. Usually I'll throw triched jars into my garden if they arent too bad looking, but its -25C right now.

It seems to me like it would be worth a shot. there was only a tiny dot of trich when I PCd. The grain should have most of its nutrients still.

Yeah I think I will. Everyone said coffee was likely to contam and these are my results with oyster spawned to coffee at a low ratio (1:4). A bit of coir verm was mixed in too, but I was amazed at how fast it colonized. Its practically leaping out of the tray. I feel like Oysters could take over anything...

Timethyl had a thread on letting myc beat out trich naturally, but from what I could find he never tried resterilizing jars.....if it did work how come this isnt a common practice?

Could be because of existing toxins in the substrate produced by the contamination. Or because it just seems easier to make new brf cakes. IDK just spitballin' here.
