I would by no means call myself an expert - but I have some experience and see those blobs as the same as "normal" fruits in a flush.
I would wait until they grow more and turn blue to get the most out of it before you harvest.
I'm curious as to what others may think...

I prefer pulling off everything at once, in once harvest swoop, if possible. I especially go this route if I'm gonna do any kind of long dunk.

I'd be happy with those....big enough to use yet small enough not to use up so much sub energy. I'd carefully pick 'em and get ready for the next flush. Lemon/tea tek 15 grams of those fresh blobs and write a report in the morning.
Edit: Upon a closer look....you could let 'em go 5 to 7 days and be just fine too...they'll mature a bit more....depends I guess on if you care what form the psilocybin takes before it goes down the hatch. If you're dead set on mushrooms....then pick them now....otherwise wait.

Whenever you're feeling stupid....just remember....there's still people out there who think the earth is 6000 years old and man rode dinosaurs.
How long did dinosaurs roam? The time gap between stegosaurus and t-rex is longer than the time gap between t-rex and man.
If geologic time was compressed into a year....man would be born on December 31st at 11:00 pm.

Squeeze them, they are super firm when growing. After about a day or two of halted growth, they get softer to the touch. That's when I pick them. I don't like to see them turn blue, that seems like biological degredation to me but that's just a guess.

Well I picked about half of the tub,the ones I did were very dense.it filled 2 quart jars up to the top! the other half looked a bit too small,so I figured I'll let those ones go a few days more.we will see what happens in time! I'll post pics of the final outcome, thanks guys!!!
Edit: invitro do you think since I picked them while they were dense, will effect their potency? They did bruise blue right away :/

Drying those suckers out quick and going airtight can help preserve potency, if you're going long-term. Otherwise, just munch asap.

When I was talking about bluing, I was responding to this statement: "I would wait until they grow more and turn blue to get the most out of it before you harvest."
Ok, what hes talking about I think is that after like 4-5 days of peak firmness the fruit will actually get soft and blue, that's like a rotting mushroom, can't be good for potency I don't think. Blue from bruising is unavoidable, not a big deal.
Also, the younger you pick them the more potent they are.
