A friend of my recently had a miscarriage and I am pretty damn sure I didn't get all of the details, which is a little weird because I usually hear all about the topic at hand. Any way, I know it didn't seem like a normal miscarriage because as she put it, it came back to life a couple times before the last time it was declared dead, there was some sort of rash that she called "[word that is escaping me] rosacea" which I looked up and seems to possibly have a connection to polycystic ovarian syndrome, and I know that her and her husband had not been intimate for like two years during which time he cheated an unknown number of times.
I know this probably is not the sort of information that could lead any of you to come to a useful conclusion but it's been weighing on my mind if any sort of STD could be involved.

Not an STD. From what you describe sounds like Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome, as characterized by inability usually to conceive- but surely includes miscarriage.
Includes physical characteristics you can usually peg someone with POS by their round face, excessive hair, plump figures. It's can be very painful and some women can't have intercourse as a result. From what I recall cutting fat out of diet may reduce symptoms.
That whole story is so sad, I can't imagine the trauma she has endured.

hmm. has two kids already though. and not hairy or plump fingered...
Still I was thinking PCOS. Of course I probably shouldn't say anything to her because people seem to not like it when you diagnosis them by reading on the internet. :/ I'm really upset about it though.

Another common reproductive issue would be endometriosis.
Could be Chlamydia sounds like you should go get tested? If it is it's highly treatable.
Really wouldn't talk bout it unless she brings it up, but I bet she could use some support. Very sad: frown:

If she hasn't been intimate with her husband in two years how did she end up pregnant?
Op was the kid yours?

No but there was a brief period where that could have happened.
I presume they resumed intimacy. She was trying to save her marriage for the sake of the children and I worry she tried to get pregnant on purpose in hopes of saving the marriage. its very complex.
I am kinda glad she miscarried because they are in no position to support another child. I feel bad for feeling that way but in a rational way, its kinda correct. get what I mean?
