if I let it inoculate in a mycobag would it be better to put it in a terrarium or just let it fruit in the mycobag

no idea.  never used popcorn.
there is a lot of space btw kernels, which might help, and i assume popcorn holds a lot of water, which also helps.

check Violet's thread on sclerotia, and stone suns thread. both of those go into great depth about their cultivation, and discuss each species, and pro's/con's of substrate/grain choice.

This is my best jar of tampanensis . I've got about 20 more colonizing of rye,wbs,and a mix of the two. Are the dark white spots sclerotia ? Its been 100%  colonized for at least a week.

You'll know the stones when you see them - they are pretty distinct and you often get metabolites from yellows to rusty orange as it ages.



These are galindoi but the stones should look similar :thumbup:
