I think we got a little off topic. We went from Novelty Theory - TM is a liar/con artist - DM is a Liar - TM contributed so much to society - no he didnt - you're different than me - you're an idiot.

The critiques I have read regarding the understanding mckenna had a very bad trip and it freaked him so much he quit smoking is---that in his focus--his transhuman focus of channeling 'machine elves' to fastrack some kind of technological singualarity that he was neglecting the more deeper spiritual questions that we need confront that have to do with emotional issues and so on. And that because of this when he experienced total meaninglessness --as some reported was the case--it was because he had depended on these entities for some kind of meaning that then betrayed that intent. That was my understanding.

IF that wasn't the case, then even so, his H+ emphasis on shrooms still suits the elite's agenda, and THAT is what is important to look at.

I wonder if 'mr logic' over there is even aware of the ELITE'S transhumanist agenda? he should be because he seems, like them, to want to keep psychedelics away from the errrm commoners/great unwashed/themob/the oiks/the peasants/the useless eaters

Joining our consciousness with electronic technology would be pretty trippy.. I was thinking that this point that terence refers to as the "eschaton" is when humans are able to directly communicate with the unknown infinite and all knowing energy that has created life on this planet that we refer to as god. at this point something truly crazy will probably happen, but I think that that is where we are heading with our evolution as a species, assuming we don't create a mass extinction before that point can occur

I'm on board with that.  My father told me how it was a possibility since I was a kid, growing up in the country. . . it seems very likely and I think we get many glimpses of it in day to day life if we look for them. . . one question is, will the Noosphere or earth consciousness become more powerful with computers?  I.e., we were already interconnected, but now intelligence with computers can reach new levels.

I would really recommend this book. You say that you have and are seeing through the so-called New Age sctick? Well THIS book learnt me (and still is) so much about uncovering all that bullshit and the roots of it. I will link you to the Amazon site because you can see inside book, but urge you not to give money to them because they are a very greedy corporation  who treat people who work for them like shit!

We already know that there is a small percent of the human population with a VASTLY unequal share of the wealth--mindblowingly unequal. And it is these who seem to be forcing a narrative. Creating myths for us to believe in. And a biggie is the transhumanist myth

Monica Sjoo is direct when she says says the patriarchy want to replace the biosphere with the technosphere!

According to him it is with the "Aryan mind" that human mental powers came into their own and brought the Masters into being. This "Aryan mind" is the alienated dualistic onlooker consciousness of Western patriarchy which has set about dominating and destroying the Earth, turning Her from a biosphere into a technosphere.

Alice Bailey's Master DK also claims that the "Secret Masters" have all along been influencing men's (and I mean men's) minds, implanting ideas and sudden inspirations that have led to inventions and scientific "breakthroughs" such as the splitting of the atom, and taking an instrumental role in the creation of patriarchies, industrialism, imperialism and the birh of male science.

All this is very important to research because you need to ask yourself, how will you respond when there comes about a new 'fad' to have electronics inserted into you, and --if you have them--your children's bodies?

i think it was a tongue in cheek way to state the obvious... eventually, the novelty of everything wears out, it's called getting old.

and the world ages too, right? so therefore, novelty is dying too. hurry, better think of something fun to do before you fucking end up bored with everything; ain't that fuckin' great.

that is a very good point. I mean that is what I see as TOXIC. you see people sleeping in the streets for the next Apple corp novelty totally blind to the damage that evil shit is doing to other peoples lives in other parts of the world, and to the environment. But they are obsessed with friggin 'NOVELTY' and the marketing people provide the mindcontrol

It's all mind-state.  You can be 100% fascinated, enhanced, happy, etc., etc., etc., just with climbing trees your whole life. . just with good things.  Like, you can realize, that money, material, the rest, is all secondary to how you feel, or how the earth feels. . what I mean is, you are (we are) connected with everything, and we, I, you, can feel that. . like -- it's a higher thing, for instance, to get in touch with nature.  As leery was saying (hope he comes back) we will be able to produce any chemical in the brain. . it's kind of like that.  All this consumerism (the word means destroyer) is not good for us, not really. . it's just like a spell, a trance, and any gizmo (you can leave all behind forever) that we might get into -- to what, make us happy?  Only a chemical state in the brain -- possible to be 100% happy without all of that stuff, just with a life well lived, human company, love, peace, and those things do not need  to destroy the environment.

ZZ- I completely agree. :-)  Ain't no need or use for that -- we're already connected to the universe; we don't need to tech ourselves up, although we will; if you are out in the deepest desert or wilderness -- you are equally connected to the universe, as if you are 'swiping and typing' away at your gizmo; and -- going out into the wilderness is generally better for health (for yourself, for nature, for society, all three, because when you come back to society -- then you can say, hey, just relax, you're human equals, everybody).

It is a kind of cliche now that many kids will say when faced with trees, sky, air, lakes 'ohhh i am SOO bored'---up pops a plastic theme park and they all scream with excitement

This is my freakin experience. I have been in the thick of this mindcontrol. From being a little kid with a sense of magic when in nature, but from about age of 8/9 to 15 (15 is when I was turned on to LSD and remembered that sense of magic again!!) I had become utterly bored with nature, and I would throw litter at it, and I was obsessed with big ugly concrete cities. Now I dig that that is exactly what the 'education' system and media is meant to DO to us!! it is all deliberately contrived. How the fuck can these control freaks make a PROFIT if people are deeply connected with natural life...?

This is why they are so irrational---on one hand they say 'we are at war with drugs' (most of them natural, cannabis, magic mushrooms) whilst with the other hand pay MILLIONS on marketing their own patented drugs they make BILLIONS of profit from!

all this shit is easy to understand when you see it

They hate natural. They want to replace our biosphere with their technosphere. EVEN mother's womb is seen as a threat to their insane patriarchal control-freak mindset. In fact that is the ROOTS of their fear

like socratse and mckenna understood, 'the best way to rejuvenate the world is not fighting against the old, but focusing all one's energy on creating the new' (paraphrased former) and mckenna. . 'pour new ideas, new thought, new creativity into the world, and don't spend any time on the old.' (again paraphrased)  actually ancient wisdom contains a lot that we think is new, just because we've forgotten -- there's always a way to look at things in a new light, though.  but as t.m. said, 'don't even listen to npr.'
